STEP 2: REGISTRATION AT AVANS
Click here for details about: Re-enrolment at Avans.
Your school needs to approve your request to go abroad. More information about this you can find at your Avans school.
- Log into Osiris Student and click the ‘Buitenland’ (‘Stay abroad’) tab.
- Choose 'Study Abroad' and enter your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice. If you are applying as a freemover, you will only need to submit the details of the institution you are planning to go to.
If you need more help, please consult the instructions.
You will receive an email through Osiris when your school has reached a decision on your 1st, 2ndand 3rd choice. This decision may constitute approval (provisional or final) or a rejection. Please be aware that the approval must have been finalised before you can go abroad.
More information about this you can find at your Avans school.
The International Office will register you with the partner institution after your school has approved your request for a stay abroad. This process is called 'nomination' and takes place from 15 March (semester 1) and from 20 September (semester 2) .
You will receive a confirmation email from the IO about this no later than 15 April (semester 1) or 15 October (semester 2).
The partner institution will subsequently send you an email listing the next steps. This may take a while depending on the partner institution. Please contact the IO if you have not heard from the partner institution by 1 June (semester 1) or 1 November (semester 2).
